Elegant Wedding Magazine Style Shoot: A Love Affair With Art

We are thrilled to share with you our creative shoot for Elegant Wedding Magazine's Winter/Spring 2013 Issue captured by the talented Aron Goss from Calculated Style Photography.

Drawn to the detail, texture and ambiance of the Thompson LandryArt Gallery, in Toronto's historic Distillery District, we were instantly inspired by Quebec Artist Jean-Pierre Lafrance paintings. His contemporary and colourful designs created the perfect pallet for us to build upon. Talking obmbre to the max with bright and rich tones we teamed up with Rachel A. Clingen Wedding Design and created bold and beautiful, with love written all over it.

Decor Trend we Love - Baby's Breath

Over the past decade (or longer) this flower has widely been considered a filler...thought of as the "stuff-you-throw-out-when-it-comes-with-your-Valentine's-roses" filler.  But like all good trends, they come back!  We can't help but fall in love with baby's breath all over again when used in a much more predominant application.  That's right...Brides are now highlighting it as the star flower, and you'll be able to see why below....Its readily available all year round too!

Boutonniere...

Ceremony Décor...

Tall and grand Centrepieces...

Outdoor Ceremony Décor....

Bouquets!...

More Bouquets!...

Okay...do you get it yet?!  We love the Bouquets!!...

More Aisle Decor...

Who knew such a silly little poof would become a luxury looking statement!?  Best news yet....its still super cost effective for those on a stricter Budget. A Bouquet made of all baby's breath can cost as little as $25!
So have an open mind the next time you see a "filler" because in a couple of years, it could very well be the newest and biggest trend :)
